Half Marathon 2 Day Carb Load + Race Day Nutrition/Hydration Plan

Created by Maddi Osburn RDN - a Dietitian that works primarily with athletes, including runners and is an endurance runner herself.

A fully customized fueling/hydration plan for a 2 day carbohydrate load and race day strategy based off of your individual needs for a half marathon distance. This is a great option for a runner who doesn't need one on one nutrition counseling work, but does want help with a done for you plan to help you crush race day.

I would recommend purchasing this customized plan when you have at least a month out from your planned race, as I ask that you give her 14 days from time of purchase to get you your plan. This will also give you time to trial your customized plan, and make tweaks as necessary.

What you will get:

  • A list of ideal Carbohydrates for your carb load so that you can mix and match in the customized plan as desired.

  • 2 Day Carbohydrate load with exact carbohydrate totals to shoot for, and meal/snack ideas for the full 48 hours that could also generally meet protein/fat needs.

  • Hydration recommendations for the 2 days, including any changes to make depending on weather.

  • What and when to eat/drink before your race start.

  • Goals for carbohydrates, fluid and sodium per hour during your race.

  • When to take your fuel/fluid during the race.

You will receive your customized plan via pdf sent to your email of choice within 14 days of purchasing. If your race is earlier than 14 days and you are still interested, please reach out to Maddi at (316) 361-6080 and she will see if she can get it to you by race day before purchasing!
